PORTFOLIO: “Futility as Rebirth”
O livro Futilidade como Renascimento contém uma série de 11 ilustrações que servem como provocações para refletir sobre diversos temas de cunho psicológico, muitas vezes tratando de alguma forma de imperfeição. As próprias imagens são imperfeitas, buscando relevância não em alguma refinada excelência técnica, mas na fragilidade e vulnerabilidade de sua primitiva representação minimalista. No livro, eles foram justapostos a poemas, narrativas breves e diálogos para criar confrontos incoerentes potencialmente relevantes. O Processo Criativo decidiu disponibilizar essas ilustrações (com a adição de uma 12ª imagem não incluída no livro) em dois formatos diferentes:
as impressões fine art em formato A2 (42 x 59,4 cm) assinadas por Scott MacLeay que podem ser adquiridas individualmente ou em grupos de 3, 6 ou 12 imagens (pedidos de portfólio completo entregues em caixa A2 sem ácido).
como um conjunto completo de 12 imagens assinadas em tamanho A4 impressas em papel fine art acompanhadas dos 11 textos / narrativas / poemas contidos no livro impresso em papel vegetal semitransparente - o conjunto completo de impressões e textos contido em uma caixa formato A4.
The book Futility as Rebirth contains a series of 11 illustrations that serve as provocations to reflect on various topics of a psychological nature, often dealing with some form of imperfection. The images themselves are imperfect, seeking relevance not in some refined technical excellence, but instead in the fragility and vulnerability of their primitive minimalistic rendering. In the book they were juxtaposed with poems, brief narratives and dialogues to create potentially relevant incoherent confrontations. The Creative Process has decided to make these illustrations available (with the addition of a 12th image not included in the book) in two different formats:
as individual A2-format fine art prints (42 x 59,4 cm) signed by Scott MacLeay that can be purchased individually or in groups of 3, 6 or 12 images (orders of complete portfolio delivered in A2 acid-free box).
as a complete set of 12 A4-sized signed images printed on fine art paper accompanied by the 11 texts / narratives / poems contained in the book printed on semi-transparent vegetal paper - the complete set of prints and texts contained in an A4-format box.
